By plane
The Bordeaux-Merignac International Airport is conveniently located 7.5 miles from dowtown Bordeaux and 8 miles from the symposium location. The “Jet’ Bus” shuttle can be taken from the airport to downtown Bordeaux (7 € one-way). The estimated taxi fare from the airport to Bordeaux is approximately 30 €. Taxis and car rentals are also available.

By train
Bordeaux’ central station (“Gare Saint-Jean”) is only 3 hours away by high-speed train (TGV) from Paris. For more details, please follow this link to the SNCF homepage. Regular taxis (Phone: +33 (0)5 56 91 48 11), tramway and bus services are available at the train station.

How to reach the conference site ?

The « Haut carré » conference room is located in Talence (Bordeaux’s suburb). It can be easily accessed by tramway (B-line, exit at “Forum” station). Please download the tram-map of Bordeaux (PDF, 137kB) and the detailed map of Talence (PDF, 546kB).

Housing

Accommodations are the sole responsibility of the participants. A list of hotels recommended by the organizing committee is provided below. These hotels are conveniently located in downtown Bordeaux and a short walk away from the tram B-line which connects directly to the conference site.
